I am a veteran of 22 years active duty in the US Army. During that time I did one tour in Vietnam leaving 60 days after the "Cease Fire". If you think we lost the war in Viet Nam then I don't agree with you. Politicians may have lost it, but the American Fighting man didn't. I assure you if it weren't for politicians there would be no need for this web site. I also spent 5 years in Korea in the 71st Air Defense Battalion (IHAWK). Leading up to my finale I belonged to the 1/6th CAV Brigade as a III/V Platoon Sergeant. During Desert Shield and Desert Storm I was assigned to the 3rd Bn 227th AVN where again I was the III/V Platoon Sergeant.
Two days after 911 I put myself on a roster maintained by the Department of the Army to be recalled to active duty. So far they haven't called. Well, I am not waiting around as there are other avenues open to me.
Recently I have removed all web rings from this web site. So if you found me it is by word of mouth or by one of the Internet search engines. I don't care for form letters and I am no longer a number. You can address me by my nickname of ORNERY or by my first name of Larry. I am not your sir, your bud, your man, your dude or anything else that might fit into that category. If you don't like what you see on this site then by all means go some place else.
