Over Involved
If we continue, Discharge we must pay
Friends is all we are
Sandra is out of line, she went way to far
Anger fills my emotions, anger fills my mind
Then I think of Melissa, so beautiful, caring, and kind
A relationship I wanted, but I never let it known
Recovery I put first , because my feelings were alone
To her I am just a friend
For me I would gladly be with her to the end
Different feelings we share for each other
For me she is one I can talk to, she helps me recover
She asks me when I’m down, “what’s wrong.”
Being with her, makes me feel like I belong
Now my depression sets in, and I can’t see
If she feels the same way about me.
