Following the successful hosting of this year's edition of NIPOGA by the prestigious Yaba College of Technology, Lagos which saw the students of the first higher institution in Nigeria vacating their halls of residence for the athletes and officials of the games, the hostels have come on stream again.
Consequently, it is business time again for the students, especially the love birds. Compus Square observed that the female hostel, popularly called 'Akata' is back to its old self. Girls, whether ebony black or fair-complexioned with provocative dresses such as Lepa Shandy and in their uisual eye-winking style strolled in and out of the hostel. The evenings and nights are particularly graced by guys from the city - some in expensive automobiles, such as jeeps and Honda of various brands at strategic points on the campus.
The male hostels such as Hollywood, Augustus Aikhomu and Moshood Abiola are not left out. They too, as usual, play host to beautiful babes, including non-students of the college day and night Campus Square also observed that electricity supply to the institution has since improved significantly, thanks to the relentless efforts of the rector of the college, Chief (Mrs.) Felicia A. Odugbesan, whose era will come to an end later in the year.
