Well, I'm assuming that you've stumbled onto this page because you either (a) are curious about the psycho chick behind the keyboard, or (b) you're lost. If you need to go back to the main page, click here. But if you're not a poor lost soul, and you really *do* wanna know what I'm like, then I guess you're in the right place! Which is actually kinda scary! So anyway. Where to start... I'm Kristen (duh), I'm 17 years old, and I live in Seattle, WA. It kinda sucks here, not because of the rain, but because of everything else. The traffic is horrendous- probably because people keep moving here (people, for the love of GOD, please DON'T move here!! SAVE YOURSELVES, while there's still TIME!!). Everybody drinks coffee- I'm the only Seattlite that refuses to pay $3.75 for a double-tall iced over non-fat mochachino latte or whatever, apparently. People are mean and spooty here, and most people work at (1) Microsoft, (2) Amazon.com, or (3) Boeing. The Seahawks suck, people still haven't figured out how to drive in the rain (::Frustrated look::), gas is like $400 a tank (actually, it's more like $2 per gallon, but still), and it never snows in the winter. People, I'm telling you... MOVE TO CANADA. I go to the ever-prestigious Holy Names Academy here in Seattle. An all girls school. All chicks. Females only. No boys allowed. And, from the past 3 years I've spent there, I've come down to the conclusion that girls my age suck. Really, they do... most of them, anyway. Well, let me rephrase that: most girls my age that go to preppy schools really suck. That is, except for the original ones that don't spend half of their lives in Abercrombie & Fitch and the other half wandering from guy to guy to suck face with. There! When I'm not being beaten by nuns to do homework or doing penance for falling asleep at church, I like to enjoy the scarce free time I have left. And it is with this free time that I do other things. Other things such as these below: I *love* talking to my sweet sweet boyfriend, Aaron, any chance I get. He's totally perfect and he's basically the male version of me... we have everything in common. I like to draw- anime is my favorite subject, but sometimes I do my own lil' toons as well. It's this passion that puts me on bad terms with my nun art teacher at school (I guess I just have problems with being too "two-dimensional", so sue me). Naturally, I love to spend time with friends, too-- that is, the ones that are actually willing to set aside some of their time to do things with me. And then there's dinking around online and talking to people. Rachael and I make sick jokes and spread gossip, Brandon and I talk about nothing in particular and somehow get into heated conversations involving hamsters, and Adam and I talk about random stuff that's floatin around in our heads (hi, all you guys!). I love music and singing along with it like a total idiot. And since I'm the Jimi Hendrix of air guitar and the Phil Collins of shower karaoke, I've dubbed myself the world's biggest dork. Some of my other hobbies include collecting awesome quotes for my quote book (if you got any, send 'em to me), watching Spongebob Squarepants, washing myself with bars of Dove Nutrium soap, knitting, wandering aimlessly in the streets of downtown Seattle, staring at the walls of my room, making cynical remarks and wishing that I got more voicemail on my cell phone. And, of course, I love anime...hence this webpage! Right now, my current obsession and the anime I can't get enough of is Neon Genesis Evangelion. In fact, I love it so much, it ties as my all-time favorite anime with *gasp!* DragonBall Z. I don't really have the money to go out and buy the tapes... you know how expensive that gets? I'm broke after buying just one tape! I practically have to take out a loan to buy a subtitled video (yes, actually, I am cheap, how'd you guess?). Even so, I still make stops to Chinatown (and eBay) frequently to pick up manga, CDs, and other various imported trinkets from my favorite series. Well, that's a pretty small portion about me... but trust me, you don't wanna know everything. ...Kidding!
