The wind clatters the chimes
The chimes outside my window
Special chimes, made to sound
Like storm-tossed boat's bells
In a gusty winter harbor.

Inside warm light and dinner
Work as armor 'gainst wint'ry tempest
Wind's-whistle sings through the chimney
While clickering branches play on windows
Counter-point to the clattering chimes.
I enjoy the music.
