I
love
winter,
especially
when it snows.
Grab your good warm
sweater and walk in soft
white splendor. Nature's blanket
muffles modern noise while
conifers molt into fluffy stalagmites under
a grey cotton cavern roof of sky. Muffled city
noises let creaking branches
and children's laughter set the mind's mood. Return
refreshed and pensive. Good hot coffee laced with bourbon
sets one to thinking perched by the
fire and watching whirling white dancers lightly touch down and blend
into the growing blanket, weaving brilliant
singularlity
into a
common
white
grouping
of beauty
