Secondary State Highway 12F

SSH 12F was added to the state highway system in 1943. This route began at Jct PSH 12 (at the time US 830, now SR 4) at Cathlamet and headed southerly, crossing the bridge to Puget Island, ending at the ferry landing at the south end of the island. When the current state highway numbering system was first posted in January 1964, SSH 12F became SR 409.
