Secondary State Highway 1J

SSH 1J was added to the state highway system in 1937. This route began at Jct PSH 1 (US 99) north of Seattle and headed southeasterly via Lake City to Sand Point, then southwesterly to the Montlake District, then south and southwesterly to Jct PSH 1 (US 99) in Downtown Seattle. SSH 1J became SR 513 when the current state highway numbering system was first posted in 1964.
