State Route 127 runs from Jct US 12 at Dodge to Jct SR 26 at Dusty. SR 127 is 27.05 miles long. When the current state route numbering system was first posted in 1964, there was no SR 127. US 295 ran fron Dodge via Dusty to Jct US 195 at Colfax. When US 295 was decertified as a US route in the late 1960s, this route became SR 127. The eastern terminus of SR 26 was at Dusty. In 1979, the SR 26 designation was extended from Dusty to Colfax and SR 127 truncated at Dusty.
