Primary State Highway 11-Columbia Basin Highway

PSH 11 (Trunk)

PSH 11 began in Pasco at Jct PSH 3 and headed NNE via Ritzville to Jct PSH 2 on the west side of Spokane. Around 1938, US 395 was extended south from Spokane via PSH 11 to Pasco and points south. In 1940, US 10 from Cle Elum to Spokane was rerouted. Part of the new route included PSH 11 from Ritzville to Spokane. The I-90 designation was added from Ritzville to Spokane in the 1960s, the US 10 designation dropped in the 70s. PSH 11 originally went through Cheney on the way from Ritzville to Spokane. When I-90 was completed from Tyler to Four Lakes in late 1966, PSH 11 was moved to this new alignment Former PSH 11 via Cheney was redesignated as SSH 11 H and signed as SR 904. PSH 11 had no PSH branches.
