He has a long katana across his back. You look closely as the hilt and see it is a remarkable color between ebony and ivory. "Well well... Interesting place eh Hod?" A small hobgoblin leaps onto the Wizards shoulder and stares muttering. "I don't like it at all m'lord.... There's an aura of Magic's." "Of course! Where better to have a shop of Familiars and Magical items?" The Hobgoblin nods and summons a puff of smoke and floats away. "Now it is time to start my work...!" He begins a strange chant and a cave of sorts with an iron door wrenches from the ground. "Ah... better... need's a window..." As if the cave heard the Wizard a large plate glass window forms by the door. "Good! Good!" He enter's the cave and places a sign against the window in large print. "Kitlarak's Shop Of all! Opening Soon!"

Woken suddenly as the ground trembles under her she rubs her tired blue eyes and yawns sleepily. Peeking out from behind the tree where she rests she watches a Wizard in front of a cave.

*Now i know that wasn't there earlier* she thinks

Standing she makes her way over to the cave, stops and reads the sign.

*hmm, perhaps the Wizard is in need of some help in his shop*

Brushing back her curly blond hair and smoothing her tunic she takes a look inside the cave through the window

The wizard looks out his window, startled to find someone there already. He wander's toward the door, and slowly step's out. "G'day to you! What kinda of creature art thee?" He chuckles at his old english. "I will be open by the morrow but if you know anyone who need's Magical items or a Familiar please bring them over..." A loud crash and a dragon howl is heard inside "By the orc! Why can't she leave that shelf alone! I had best be in!" He hurrys back in his shop and closes his emerald curtains tight.

The wizard steps out of his shop one morning, stretches a few times, and yawns to wake up. "Opening day! Well I had best get done." He goes inside, opens his curtains, and changes his sign to: "We're open! Welcome!" He begin's to head back into the depth's of his shop, before he remember's something. He head's back outside and stares at his door then carves the following in it!: "Shoplifters Beware! There's A Dragon In There!" He nod's in approval of his slogan and goes inside waiting for whom may wander in

Stretching on the dew ladened grass she wakes up to see it will be a wonderful day. Jumping up she tucks her hair behind her pointed ears and makes her way towards the new cave. Stopping she looks at the door and runs her hands over the deep marks and reads it.

*well, a dragon.. id best keep my hands to myself* she thinks

Smiling she opens the door and steps inside, in wonder she gazes around her.

The wizard turns toward the door and smiles beneath his hood. "Hello again! Anything special you're looking for? Why don't I introduce myself a bit more." He pulls down his hood and grin's toward his guest. He is a mere boy! Merely 13 or 14. He has fiery hair and where his pupils should be in his eyes there is a purple light. You just notice has a pair of wire rim spectacle's on. "My name is Kitlarak. I am a Wizard... and one not to be estimated. What is your name? Any anyway's welcome to my shop look around and find what you wish." You see books, enchanted weapons, enchanted scrolls, eggs, animals, bottles, charms and everything else anyone could want! there are shelves as long as the eye can see and you wonder. "How'd he get all this in?"

She moves her eyes away from the items around the shop and smiles brightly at the wizard.

"My pleasure to meet you Kitlarak, I go by the name Severen and I am an elf" with a voice as soft as silk she carrys on " I see so many wonderful things here my eyes have a mind of their own." She walks softly around the room and stops and looks at a row of bottles " I mean no harm and am simply curious" She looks over to a book case stacked full of books " I have never seen a shop quite like this, so.... full" Gently she picks up one of the bottles and holds it to the light, she gazes at the colour and once again turns to smile at you. She places the bottle back on the shelf and tucks her hair behind her ears. "I am wondering" she spoke quietly "if you could help me, I am in need of a silver chain for this.." She digs in her tunic pocket and pulls out her hand. Opening her hand you see on her palm a small dull stone, from the top of the stone you see a tiny silver ring from where it can be hung. Whispering a few quiet words the stone begins to glow a calming blue, a relaxing hum issues out of the stone, making you feel immediately at peace. Smiling softly she closes her palm around the stone and breaks the spell and places it back in her pocket.

"but.. i have no gold to pay you with" a small frown appears on her forehead "maybe if you have such a chain I would be able to make payment by helping with some chores that might be in need of doing?"

Kitlarak laughs and says "Not all is what it feel's too be. But down to business... Hmmmm..." Mutter's Kitlarak his eye's changing to a darker purple. "Yes... I may have what you need... I'll be back in a little while. Look around some more and tell me if there's is anything else you want." He begins an archaic chant and a portal appear's in front of him. "My room." He say's, then steps into the portal. The portal closes and several minutes pass by without his return. You suddenly hear a whisper... a whisper that mesmerizes... you strain your ears for more of the words. "Hear me... find me... free me... Hear me! Find me! Free me!" The words become a slurred scream! Suddenly... all is broken... A small hobgoblin taps severen several times. "Wake up! Close your ears woman!" You wake up from the spell too see that the murmur came from a black chain bound book "You alright M'lady?" He points at the book and growls. "Bad book! Bad!" And he disappears as fast as he came. Suddenly the portal is opened again and Kitlarak steps infront of Severen "Here! This is a magic chain I had in my storage. It's totally indestructible! It also cannot be taken off by anyone by the wearer so steal proof hehe! BUT it is silver coated! not pure silver. Heavy too. You still want it?"

She laughs delitedly, having never seen a talking book. She shakes her head to clear it, and smiles to herself, she starts slightly as he steps in front of her and smiles happily at him "oh yes, it is what I need. I must protect this stone.. but what can I pay you with? Have you work around here I could do for you?"

The wraith stares at the warrior and laughs hystericaly! "I am in the etheral! there is nothing you can do to me!... Although by the same token..." Kitlarak turn's toward the warrior and nod's a greeting and returns to his talk with Severen

She tilts her head and looks at the wizard "So all you require as payment for the chain is for me to answer your riddle?" She flips her hair back over her shoulders and knows she is having a very blond day, if it is true she will need all of her concentration.

The wraith still act's unsuprised. "I find you point.... But beware my master is not as patient as me!" The wraith begins to disapear but still barely says. "Enchanted item's on sale..."

:::Watches quietly from his perch in the clouds, his eyes, sharp as any eagle's, catch every detail of what is going on in the shop through the wizard's window::: "I wonder where this wizard comes from?" he says to no one in particular, "From Fabled Caldemon....? No, it could not be. The Wizards of Caledmon are few and far between, I haven't encountered one for....well it must be at least 3,000 years! Times are changing, hopefully for the better. I am too old for this...."

The Phoenix pulls out his magical orb, the orb of Genlii, and chants an old spell, the meaning of the words unknown even to his ancient ears. The orb of Gendlii glows brightly for a second, then starts eavesdropping on the shop below. "....'first is death after is rampage next is art onward is gold over to the next is over after is up upon an explorers scale... Try 3 times.'said the mystical wizard. 'Oh my' said Severen, thinking aloud, 'Is it a dragon?' " Nodding his head approvingly, it would have been his guess too, the phoenix listens to the ball, in hopes that the Elf is right. He would make His appearance to the wizard soon..............

Thinking she has seen a flash of light the glances briefly at the window, seeing nothing she turns back to the wizard. She bites her lip and wonders if her answer has been correct..

'I believe i have been spotted' thinks the Phoenix. 'Oh well, now is as good a time as any to make my appearance.' :::Unfolds his wings to their full span of 15 paces. With his muscular arms, he pulls his body up out of his magical rift in time and space, and regretfully watches it close, much effort went in to creating it. He leaps 60 paces into the air, using all 4 of his thickly muscled legs. He swoops downward, and picks up frightening speed, racing toward the ground. BA-BOOM he barely gets his legs below him in time to stop his descent. One final beat of his wings carries him within inches of the portal into the shop. He stands regally, awaiting someone to greet him.:::

Jumps slightly as she feels a vibration through her feet, she looks to the door and there stands a creature she has never seen before in her life. Snapping her jaw shut after it had hung open she smiles a bright smile at the newcomer. "My warm greetings, how wonderful it must be to have wings!" She turns back towards the wizard and smiles.

*If this answer is not correct I think I will do myself damage trying to think of the right answer* she thinks to herself

It has been long since i have seen one of your kind in these Mountains. Perchance, would you be from Caldemon? If so, I have a problem that you may be able to fix....."

"Hello...." The wizard's eyes glaze over and turn a meadow green.... they slowly change back to their normal purple as he say's. "Phoneix. I am rather good... and you? Wizard's are rare here? For what reason? And no I am not from Caldemon... I come from Etheral... don't ask.... But I may be able to help you anyway?"

Yes Wizard, you may be able to help me, even though you are from "Etheral" wherever that is. Long Long ago, in an Age faded long ago to legend, and even long ago to myth, now long forgotten, I was a Lord of the Land, and a Drake Psionic. An evil Enchantress, by the name of Makitra, cast a spell over my castle which killed all inside, in hopes of placing her son Brahma on the throne. She DID kill all beneath my roof, save for one, me. I was rescued by a renegade wizard, and he, recognizing me, changed me into a Phoenix, in hopes of gaining power. I regret now that I devoured him, for i didnt know at the time that his spell brought with it Eternal Life. At first i was overjoyed, but as the Milleniums, and Eons have passed, i have been quite lonely. What I request from you, kind Wizard, a spell, or a potion to change me back into a handsome Drake, for I fear my talents as a spellcaster lay in other areas, like....... well no matter. Ahhhhhhh, to be Drake again..... Oh yes, and if you cannot turn me back, please find a way to kill me, for there are no others of my kind in this universe, and I cant stand being so lonely any more.

"Drake? Hrmmmm... Well let me see your enchantment." The wizard come very close to the Phoneix and his eye's glaze to a meadow green once more. "By Shiva!?" Scream's the wizard as he is flung against a shelf by unknown magic's. "Ow..." his eye's abrubtly return to purple and he groan's a few times before saying. "I can disenchant you but there's two problems... I need one ingredient which I have not... and this potion is very hard to make and very expensive... but I know how you may pay... you're feather's... remarkable magic's within them. Before I disenchant you let me have a bushel of you feather's and fetch me the one ingredient I will need and your potion shall be made. I warn ye now! The ingredient is in a city called Samhain's Song. It is beyond the mountain's and the item is very hard to... gain." The wizard pulls and aged scroll from his cloak and say's. "bargain?"

She gasps at his kindness, "many thanks kind Kitlarak", holding tight to the chain she bows, "I see your shop is busy, I must go, and again I thank you" She smiles at the other people in the shop " I hope you find what you need!" she slides past them and through the door, running to the tree she sits down on a root. She takes out her stone and attatches it to the chain. Slipping it over her head she feels comforted by the weight. Soft words are spoken and the stone again begins to glow, issuing a calming hum. Smilling she leans back against the tree to watch the day go by.

The wizard give's teh scroll too the Phoneix and decide's to answer his question's. "Samhain's Song is a village... and an evil one too.... Within Samhain's Song are demon's, lich's, black dragons and red dragons on the boarder's, Kraiken in the lake's, and many such evils! Beware and do NOT turn to them!..." The wizard wave's his hand and say's "follow" as he step's out his door. He point's eastward toward some large craggy mountain's. "Just past those mountain's and just before any sea's. there... is Samhain's Song. Once you get there the scroll has all the info you will need. How will you know the village? The... denizen's alway's mutter some archaic chant that's why it is called Samhain's Song. Go... and good luck... you'll need it." The wizard begin's to enter his shop one more but turns around halway there and say's. "Oh... either way you will win. There are creature's there that can kill even you." He finish's entering and you hear him yell "Hod! Bring me a broom for all the feather's! We've struck gold!... or struck bird... poor fellow... hope he survives."

*Thinks for a moment about what the wizard said* "Lets see here...." *Concentrates, mutters an archaic chant of his own, then explodes into motion, at mach three, towards the distant mountains. His feathers are all suddenly molting, and back in a blink of an eye, and he leaps straight up, inches away from a sheer cliff wall, his leathery wings unfold, and he pumps them fiercely. Up, Up, Up he goes, until he clears the precipice, 2 miles above the wizards shop* "I hope the wizard is right...."

If nae I am afraid I will have tae ask thee tae cease all activities here at once.. Tis by law that thy shop and its owner must be registered within these lands..
