Subject: The Time has Come

::A cloaked man could be seen hanging a note on the post in the center of town, he was hunched over and his clothes appeared no better than those of a street bum. His hood was drawn and as he looked around the city, all that could be seen was an eerie set of green eyes, the eyes of the man that once proudly served this kingdom and its

Queen. The low growl from the black tiger beside him offered him some reassurance that he was doing the right thing and he gave the beast a smile beneath the cloak, he then turned to read over his message once more. The message read as follows:

Dear People of Caldemon,

For a long time, I served these lands.. Back when the King still ruled and your current Queen was just a Princess. From then I watched this kingdom grow and prosper.. Under Fallans guidance it became a grand place and I hope it shall continue to grow under her careful guidance. Many of you either know not.. or care not.. who I am, but let it be known that I am Kaldon Darkstarr, friend to your dear Queen and protecter to those I know and care

about. Now though.. I have decided it is my time to leave these lands.. my presence here is no longer needer, nor is it wanted.. The one I once would have given my life to protect no longer needs my services. Also as it stands I may soon lose my own life, and I did not wish to bring down these lands with me. So I have decided to leave this place, and wish you all luck with all you do. May your kingdom grow and prosper til all time ends.

Looking over his letter once more, he nodded and turned to his tiger again. With a low growl the tiger became surrounded in a strange red light and when it cleared, the tiger now stood as a horse. He then mounted the horse the horse and took a final look around the kingdom:: <ms>Good bye, good city.. ::With that, he turned his horse towards the gates

and rode out, along the country roads and open fields, never looking back and what was behind him::

Walks through the town square and sees a parchment posted for all to see. He walks over and reads it silently to himself. A slight grin, then as he walks away he muses to himself. "It just keeps getting better and better."
