Suddenly outside the walls of the kingdom the sky grew darker as strange clouds began to form. Loud crashes of thunder clapped and the ground shook violently. Dangerous winds began to blow through the town. The kingdoms residants and their farms closed themselves in for what all thought was going to be the worst storm of the century.
The phenomenon continued on for many hours until the stroke of midnight. Out of the sky came a pillar of red and black flame that seemed to stretch from the heavens to the ground and far below it. The entire sky was lit up at this display and then the pillar vanished into the night from whence it came.
As the flames disappeared, there was left the figure of a man. He stood at a toweing 7' tall, 345#s. His long black hair blew in the wind and his eyes glowed an eerie red in the night. He threw his head back and howled into the night sky. With a sadistic grin he then looked back to the locked up kingdom and spoke in a low, gravelly tone: "I'm Back.." His eerie laugh then echoed throughout the lands as he slowly made his way to the
castle.

She stood on the balcony of her second floor bedroom and watched the angry skies lash out their vengence.
There was more to that storm than met the eye, a sense of magick and power seemed to radiate from its very bowels.
Gripping the soft fleece of her robe about her, as a chill seemed to crawl down her spine, creating goose bumps upon her flesh. Was it the chill of the howling winds, or was that how of something other?
Into the darkness those golden hues peered, suddenly she felt as if alert and on watch, but for what, she couldn't place her finger upon that.

As he walked through the fields to the castle, the storm continued to rage behind him. Suddenly the clouds opened up and torrents of rain poured from the sky.
As the man looked up into the window of the castle, he saw the light and what appeared to be the figure of a person in it. He changed his course to head directly below that window and hoped to himself it would be someone he knew. After all.. his spectacular entrance had left him wet and tired and he needed rest. Oh well.. maybe he would be lucky.. maybe not.. only time would tell.

He is awakened by the sudden storm. Slowly he gets out of bed and stammers to the window. Throwing it open he glances about with pale green lighted eyes, bestowing him vision beyond normal humans.. Seeing the man approaching he mubbles.
"Show off."
Closing the windows and latching them, he returns to his bed wearily and falls back to sleep.

Suddenly it began to downpour and drove her back into the warm, dry confines of her room, but not before a sucession of lightning forking out over the sky above illuminated the grounds around the castle and sillouetted the very tall figure that appraoched.
Quickly she moved to blow out all the candles, only the soft light of the hearths glow illuminated the room, almost an errie reflection of light in comparison to the bright flashes that illuminated the grounds of the castle.
A glance to her sword at her bed side, just to make sure it was close by in case of need, she then returns to stand just inside the balcony doors in time to see whom ever it was, was heading directly towards her window.

As he neared the castle he saw the lights go out suddenly and he smirked to himself, knowing his presence had frightened someone. He wondered to himself if he should have toned down a bit on the effects.. "Nah.." he spoke out loud followed by a soft chuckle.
He finally reached the ground below the window and he realized where he was, he knew the castle well and he smiled to himself, he was where he had planned to go anyway.
He crossed his arms and slowly levitated to the balcony outside the room, his eyes lost their red glow and changed to their usual green. He ran his fingers through his hair and pulled open the balcony doors and stepped into the room. With a smile he looked to his friend and spoke: "Dark Eve.."

She watched as the figure moved closer, then to disappear from sight as he neared the base of the balcony below.
She then turned to stand near her sword and then turning to face the doors once more.
As the doors slung open and the shadowed figure stepped bolding into her chambers, as quick as the flash of lightning that forked across the sky, she had sword in hand ready to defend herself.
Then that voice ran out from the shadowed confines of the door, the flicker of lighting silouetting his form from behind. A sense of forboding, yet familiarity emitted from the lumbering man before her.
Then he stepped further into the room, the softness of the firelight danced across his strong features. A succession of blinks as she gazed upon the face that now was familiar, the sword clattered to the floor and a smile upon her face as she dashed forth and jumped up into his arms.
" Kaldon, tis been a lifetime"
A bear hug she gave around his neck, then her knuckles grinded into the side of his head, giving him a "nuggie".
" An how dareth thee scare me half out of my wits old friend"
Laughter rings out as she hugs him once again.
"Tis good tae hath thee home Kaldon, good friends such as thee art hard tae find"

He couldnt help but laugh as he held her in a tight embrace. "Aye my friend.. it has been much to long indeed, but I felt like coming back to see you.. and to see if by chance.. thee needed my services once more.."
He looked outside and his eyes glowed red a second. Slowly the storm that he created vanished into the night sky and the moon illuminated the now wet country side, creatig a beautiful landscape.
He then looked back to Fallan with a smile. "I even brought a beautiful gift for a beautiful Queen, I could nae resist a spectacular show for such a good friend." He chuckled to himself and then looked to her. "Do you think it was a bit much?"
He kissed her cheek as he continued to hold her and then grew serious, but only for a brief moment as he asked a question. "Would you have really used that sword on me my dear friend?"

Looks up at him and smiles.
" Kaldon, my dear old friend, I can always use thine help around here, how could thee ever think I never needed thee tae begin with?"
Glances out the open doors as she watches the storm receed and the stars and moon once more shinning brightly within the inky blackness of the night sky, her gaze returns to him with a quirk of a brow and a smirk.
" A little mayhaps, if I had been out in the garden, I wouldst hath gotten soaked"
Light laugh as she teases him.
Smiles as she looks up at him, and then the seriousness upon his features brought her own.
" Thee knoweth well Kaldon I never leave myself unprotected, if it had been someone meaning tae harm me, aye, I wouldst have used the sword, but lucky for thee I recognized thee, so thy life hath been spared from my hand"
A quirk of a brow as she "looked" up at him and then winks as she teased. Then her warm smile was once more in place.
"Be thee staying the eve here Kaldon? Thine rooms be still as thee hath left them, mess and all"

He chuckles softly at her words.. "Aye.. what would the ever do without the great me.."
"I admit.. the storm was a bit much.. and I am glad thee were nae in thy gardens.. else I would nae have been able to find thee at all.. but I am glad the liked it.."
He then looked down a moment before looking back to her. "I apologize for frightening you.. but I am glad thee did nae use thy sword on me.. but at least I would have died, falling into thy arms.." A smirk followed by a soft chuckle as he winked at her.
He smiled to her once more and nodded. "Aye.. I will stay here this eve.. in my mess of a room, I sent Khan there already.. " A smirk. "I wanted him to make sure the coast was clear for my arrival.."
"Tis good to be here again, in the place I always thought of as my home, close by to protect thee as is my true job.. and to be thy friend for all times.." He smiled to her again.

Looks up at him and smiles warmly.
" Busy as always with the building of the kingdom and trying tae strengthen the masses. Tis a hard task tae doust when it be done by only myself without the aide of others. I am trying tae doust my best to increase activity, but tis a sad day indeed whence my demands and request goeth unanswred"
A slight frown appeared upon her face as she spoke.

Looks up a moment then back to her. "Then it would appear my brother Balkoth is nae doing his job as Enforcer.. now is he?" Smirks. "Maybe I should take his job since he doth nae know how tae do it.."
Chuckles softly and smiles to her. "Either way, I will gladly serve thee if thee needs my assistance.. Just give me the paperwork and I will do what I need to.. so long as I can serve thee again.."

Her smile beams at his request and she hugs him tightly.
" Aye Kaldon, that would be wonderful, but I would as thee tae work with him, nae replace him, he is a good man after all."
She withdraws from his arms to walk to the small desk in her room, the drawer opened and a parchment withdrawn and soon she was at his side and handing it to him ( Kingdom of Caldemon ).
" Here be all the necessary forms Kaldon, I am sae glad tae hath ye home again"
stands before him "looking up" as she smiles.
