Dam cans!
They've dumped dam cans everywhere at the entrance to this canyon. I understand that this is one of the dam dump sites used during the dam construction project. I think Teresa was relieved when Tom left the "Dam" area.
That's a Grant County ponderosa pine forest in the background. I didn't realize there was such a thing.
A quick side trip north to the birthplace of Teresa's mother.
Washington tax payers are picking up the tab for this free ferry on Lake Roosevelt. Yes, it's part of the Washington State ferry system. Teresa and I rode the thing southbound.
