Born a wild human at the edges of Nicardian,
her mother Ilianna was a breeder of the House of Do'Eldran.
Ilianna, known to be heavy with child, was
released on the lands of her Lord's Estate. Lord Do'Eldran gave
her time to bear the child and raise it to
the age of about 14 before he ordered her recapture with reasons
unknown.
Ardeyn, however, was left in the wild and on
her own. Her over abundant curiosity kept her close to the
Elven Lords as she tried to find a reason
behind their actions dealing with her, her mother and the father
she never knew. She kept vigil over all Elven
activity and once, when following a secret shipment of
Nicardian slaves, she happened upon a young
gypsy girl named Orianna, who was being taunted by a pair
of cruel Elven overseers.
Taking no heed to any danger, she saved the
girl and they fled to Orianna's Caravan. Ardeyn was thanked
and spent time with Orianna, whenever she
had the chance between her agendas with the Elves, finding a
deep friendship with her in the short time
she was in contact with the Evindale Caravan.
A few months later, she was following the trail
of a line of overseers that had moved westward, in hopes of
finding out the truth of her father and the
reason for her mothers release and recapture. Deciding to break
her course from them, she returned to Orianna's
Caravan only to find it moved.
A short while later, she learned the fate of
that Caravan and, believing all in it dead, wandered aimlessly
for several years, slowly loosing her interest
in her past and finding herself on the road to a dark, void
future.
Now a strong, lone fighter of 20, Ardeyn finds
herself drawn into the quest of a young Elven Lord and his
comrades. Having no real reason to stay, she
cannot understand why she cannot simply leave them to
carry on their deadly and futile journey.
She cannot decide whether it may be the thrill of fighting the
demanding and dangerous battles, which let
her forget herself and that keeps her pressing forward with the
others, or if it is the attraction of another,
more emotional danger.
