COLE SLAW
1 Package Pre-Made Cole Slaw Mix (I prefer the shredded cole slaw mix) *OR* 1 Medium Sized Cabbage, Cored & Halved & 1 Carrot; 3/4C. Miracle Whip; 2 1/4TB. Cider Vinegar; 1/4C. Splenda; 1tsp. Celery Seed; Pinch Of Salt
If you're using the pre-made mix all you need to do is mix the miracle whip, cider vinegar, splenda, celery seed and salt in large bowl, then add the cole slaw mix. Blend until the cole slaw is completely blended with the sauce.
If you're making the mix on your own, you'll need to break up the cabbage by cutting them in half and thinly slicing them. I then chop them up even further to get them as thinly sliced as I can. Next, you'll need to grate the carrot into the cabbage (You'll need a large bowl for them.) Next you'll add the miracle whip, cider vinegar, splenda, celery seed and salt and mix thoroughly. I've had success with adding them directly to the cabbage and carrot mix, but you can also mix the dressing in a separate bowl and whisk together, then pour it over the vegetables.
Keep refrigerated. It's about 45 carbs for the entire bowl. There are approximately 8 servings with 5.5 net carbs per serving.
