COCONUT BANANA BOATS
2 Bananas; 1/4 C. Peanut Butter; Shredded Coconut; Maraschino Cherries, sliced
Pell bananas and cut each lengthwise. Spread peanut butter on two of the halves. Put cherry slices on top of the peanut butter. Top with the other two banana halves. Roll them in coconut. Cut each boat into bite-size pieces and serve.

This recipe from a book my wife had as a child called Buddy Bear's No-Cook Cookbook by Pauline C. Peck. It was from the Weekly Reader Children's Book Club and was published in 1980.
