CHERRY TREE SALAD
This recipe from a book my wife had as a child called Buddy Bear's No-Cook Cookbook by Pauline C. Peck. It was from the Weekly Reader Children's Book Club and was published in 1980.
4 Pineapple slices; 2 Bananas; 4 Cherries; Crisp Lettuce Leaves; Mayonnaise
Put lettuce leaves on four plates. Top with pineapple slices. Stand half a banana in the hole of each pineapple slice. Top each banana with mayonnaise. Add a cherry to the top.
