Hello and welcome to my Cheney Duvall, M.D. website!! Thanks for visiting and yes, I am trying to update. LOL I always used get so mad at people who don't update their sites and now I'm totally doing it myself! Anyway, I have lots of great ideas but it just takes time to put on paper...er, screen? *ramble ramble* Ok! I don't know exactly where I was going with that but...ok! LOL take some time to look around and check out my site, email me and tell me what you think, ok? Have a great day!

That book has been the cause of much frustration in the last few weeks. If you don't already know, Driven With the Wind has been delayed yet again. Yes, for the eighth time. (Wow, has it been that long?) The latest news straight from the publishers, Bethany House, is that Lynn Morris has had health problems and hasn't even begun to write the book yet. I know, I know. I feel your pain. They say that the earliest is SPRING 2001. Isn't that awful? That's two and a half years from the publishing date of the last book. We've got a long wait ahead of us....

LOL ok. Enough of the depressing stuff. Let's talk about happier things! The books. Obviously, they're my absolute favorite!! They're written by Lynn Morris and Gilbert Morris, a father/daughter writing team. I think Lynn has written a couple of books solo, but I'm not sure. Her father has written ... well, lots, to say the least. I think he's written over a hundred books by himself and with others.

The Cheney Duvall, M.D. books are about a young woman in the 1860's who is determined to become a doctor despite the odds. Cheney Duvall faces prejudice and danger as she sets out on her adventures. Her assistant, 6-foot blond blue-eyed Shiloh Irons, is a former boxing champion-turned-Confederate soldier-turned-nurse. As they embark on their journeys, they face many obstacles, only a few of them being a cholera epidemic, a voodoo queen, and a not-so dormant volcano. (not to mention a tidal wave and a bay full of sharks!!) But, of course, through all the bad times and all the good times, Cheney relies on God to be her comfort and her support and her purpose.
