Ayeka is a tempered, impatient character - yet she is kind and soft hearted. She is pretty much always competing with Ryoko for Tenchi's favor. Ryoko and Ayeka don't get along well, and sometimes get into fights - but they have their good times, Ryoko even loses a fight onpurpouse to save her. Ayeka is Sasami's big sister, but doesn't carry many of the attributes Sasami does. Ayeka has purple hair, Sasami has blue hair. Sasami can cook, Ayeka can not :/
For the most part Ayeka is very serious though. When she finds out that her home planet, Jurai is being plotted for destruction, she can get down to business and get things taken care of. She has magical powers, but they don't rival Tenchi's or Kagato's. Ayeka is supposed to be the princess of her home planet, Jurai. Ayeka overall is pretty funny, just because her temper and overreacting makes everything a little more crazy, she loves Tenchi. The show wouldn't be the same without her... who would fight with Ryoko?
