DRAGONBALL Z
Dragon Ball Z is a show that follows around the various main character,
primarially Goku, as they go through various adventures and defeating
enemies. As the show progressed the enemies would get stronger and stronger,
so the heroes had to get stronger too. This show is mainly about martial
arts and fighting, which is why it is one of the most popular anime.
Goku: The main character, he is a pure hearted Saiya-jin from the Planet
Vegeta. Since he is a Saiya-jin it is in his blood to fight, but he won't
hurt someone if he doesn't feel he has to. He and Vegeta are sort of rivals,
and Goku is always besting Vegeta.
Vegeta: Vegeta is also a Saiya-jin, when you first meet him he is a bad guy
and that where his rivalry with Goku got spawned. He eventualy becomes a
good guy. He has a sore spot towards Goku because Goku is always besting
him.
Gohan: Gohan is Goku's son, he is also pure hearted and does not like to
fight. He has the potential to become stronger than his dad, but his mom
makes him study and he doesn't have a desire to.
Piccollo: He is a Namekian and, like Vegeta, starts out as a bad guy. He was
the evil have of Kami, but he became good, and united with Kami. He is very
strong, stronger than the humans, but weaker than the Saiya-jins. He enjoys
fighting and becomes really good friends with Gohan.
Kami: The good half of formerly one Namekian that split into two halves,
Kami and Piccollo. He isn't that strong compared to Piccollo. He is the
gaurdian of the earth and protects it.
Krillin: He is the strongest human, and was friends with Goku since they
were little kids. He enjoys fighting, but is never as strong as Goku. He
becomes good friends with Gohan and really looks up to Goku.
Trunks: Trunks is Vegeta's son and, like Gohan has the pontential to become
stronger than his dad, but doesn't have incentive to do so.
Bulma: Bulma is the daughter of a scientist and is a scientist herself. She
has an inflated ego and is rather conceited and rather annoying. She becomes
Vegeta's wife and has a son named Trunks.
Yamcha: Yamcha is a human who likes to fight and is exectionally strong for
a human, but he is far weaker than the Saiya-jins. He doesn't fight much and
when he does he gets killed.
Tein: Tein is also a human, and he also likes to fight. He is stronger than
Yamcha, but is also weaker than the Saiya-jins. He has a good friend named
Chouzu that he trains with.
Chi Chi: Goku's wife, she doesn't like fighting and constantly thinks of
Gohan as "her baby". She wants Gohan to be a scholar and constantly
makes
him study.
