It's just another day at the "Tendo Anything-Goes Martial Arts Training Hall," or at least it starts out that way. Everyone is enjoying a hearty meal when the arrival of a strange girl named Lychee and her giant elephant Jasmine throws everything into an uproar. It's not such much her arrival that's the problem (after all, strange girls and animals are arriving at the Tendos all the time), but the fact that she's come to settle a score with small but spunky panty thief Happosai, the martial artist who originally trained not only Soun but Genma, as well.
As it turns out, a very long time ago Happosai gave Lychee's great-grandmother half of a legendary scroll guaranteed to bring happiness to whoever is holding it. The women of Lychee's family have been waiting for three generations now and the prince still hasn't come, so Lychee's travelled all the way to Japan from China with only poor Jasmine for company.
Of course, the m oment Lychee lets the scroll out of her sight who should happen to pick it up but Akane, Soun's youngest daughter and Genma's future daughter-in-law, provided Akane and Ranma can stop fighting long enough to get married. That may no longer be a problem, however, as the long-awaited Prince Kirin of the Seven Lucky Gods Martial Arts has chosen this particular moment to fulfill the prophecy and sweep his lucky bride off her feet. . .
Taking Akane with him, Prince Kirin sets off aboard his majestic flying barge and Ranma and Company must follow them on a slowboat to Nekonron, China to see if they can save Akane in time. . .
Personally, i thought the movie was totally awesome. It was 75 full minutes of non-interupted, fun-filled, Ranma1/2!!!
