a) Imam Redha said that Amir Al-Momineen said :”I heard the messenger of Allah say “Fatima(a.s.) was given that name because Allah has safe gaurded her and her progeny (and here followers) from fire”.

a) Siddiqah(the honest) , Mubarakah(the blessed one) , Tahira(virtuos) , Zakiyah(the chaste) , Radhiatul Mardihiah (she who is gratified and who shall be satisfied) , az Zahra(the splendid) , Muhaddathah (a person other than prophet who angels speak to).

The meaning at-Tahera is
related to the verse of purification “And Allah only wished to remove all
abomination from you, ye members of the Family and to make you pure and
spotless,” ayat-e tatheer of sura

to accept the shield and asked him to sell it and bring the money to him. Imam
Ali(a.s.)’s shield sold for 480-500 dirhams and thus this amount was set as the
dowry.

It
is narrated that when she learnt of her dowry she said:”O Messenger of Allah,
lay girls take money for dowries, what is the difference between me and them? I
kindly ask u to give it back and supplicate to Allah, the Exalted, to make my
dowry the right to intercede for the sinners among Muslims (on the day of
rising).”
Then Gabriel descended
with a label on which the following statement was written:’Allah ordained
Fatima(a.s.) Zahra’s dowry to intercede for the sinners among Muslims.’
When
Fatima(a.s.) was on her death bed she asked for the label to be put on her
chest.

better for you than a servant and the world with everything in it. After every prayer say: Allahu Akbar 34
times, Alhamdolillah 33 times,
Subhaan Allah 33 times ; then conclude that with la ilaha illa Allah. Surely
this is better for you than which you wanted and the world and it’s
belongings.”

veil between you when he cannot see you?’
She responded:’Messenger of Allah,
it is true that he cannot see me, but I can see him and he can smell my
fragrance.’
At this the Prophet said:”I bear witness that you are a part of
me.”

be written down by Imam Ali(a.s.). It contains knowledge on the subjects of
legal punishments, Islamic penal code, names of kings who would rule the earth
till the day of judgement and description of many important events of the world.
It is 3 times the size of the Quran (but in no way a replacement for it).This
book has only been in the possesion of the 12 Holy
Imams.
