Arsenal are interesting in securing the services of Mark Burchill who will be out of contract at the end of this season. Newcastle United have also expressed an interest in the rising star and Celtic should make it a priority to agree terms with one of our brightest young hopes. Mark has come of the bench a few times this season and has shown stunning pace and a great touch, Celtic would be very foolish to allow another product of their youth policy slip through their fingers. Fergus McCann has already made the mistake of allowing Shay Given to ,leave Celtic for nothing, he has gone on to be one of the top keepers in England, this must not happen again. Celtic have had a £1.5 million pound bid for Daniel Munteanu refused by Cologne. Bad news is that Paul Lambert is out of Scotland's fixtures with Estonia and the Faroe Islands due to a knee injury.
