It appears that Marc Reiper will be out of action until after the winter break. In fact some sources suggest that the Danish internationalist could be out for the rest of the season following an ankle operation this week.

Transfer speculation continues as ever with Celtic being linked to Dutch striker Eric Meijer who currently plays for Bayer Leverkusen and Bobby Petta a winger currently playing with Ipswich Town.

Finally Stewart Kerr has signed a new 3 year contract an interesting development considering Jonothan Gould's monopoly of the number 1 shirt when fit. This is good news however for Celtic as it would mean a higher transfer fee when Stewart does get impatient with sitting on the bench. Stewart has had an unlucky stay at Celtic Park, a great hope, his career has been blighted by injury.
