The Dalglish/Kerr consortium have withdrawn their bid to buy Celtic following Fergus McCanns rejection of their bid on Friday. Fergus had wanted to be free from the consortium's confidentiality agreement to allow fans and shareholders to better judge the proposed deal. The main stumbling block seems to have been money, the consortiums bid is rumoured to have been in the region of £80 million significantly below there current value. The consortium claimed their offer was fair and the three recent rises in price have worked against them.
