A desperate performance by Celtic has in combination with another episode of "Jam Tarts in Lie down to the hunz fiasco" left the bhoys just one point clear at the top of the SPD. First half was nothing short of embarrasing as Celtic seemed to see if it would be a good idea to emulate Wimbledon and hoof the ball without any real direction. Nonetheless Larsson should have opened Celtic's account halfway through the first half but wasted a decent chance failing to keep his shot on target. Fact is that had one of Celtic's chances gone in then I'm sure the team would have settled and a rout would have followed. Hibs are a very poor football team at the moment and must be the team to drop (I just hope they can beat Dundee Utd next week to keep the arabs in the fighting spirit for their final game - against the cloven hooved)

Second half was marginally better but again it was a story of what might have been, Celtic made chances but failed to convert (Donnelly being the principle offendor on this occassion). Blinker came on late and nearly got a late winner but it never looked like being our day. We had a lame looking penalty appeal turned down but that was more a case of clutching at straws.

Celtic need an early goal against Dunfermeline. If they get it I feel sure we'll beat them, however if it's goaless after half an hour again it could very well be tears.
