'Forgive
and forget' says Koroma. This statement by the
head of the former AFRC junta is the height of
audacity. May he go make this statement to the face
of some of the victims who were tortured by his forces.
He is in no position to make such a demand. In order
for anyone to even consider forgiving him, Koroma must
admit what he and his forces were responsible for and
apologize and then perhaps the victims might consider
forgiving. I doubt forgetting is an option for those
who had their hands or genitals chopped off by the
AFRC/RUF.
