There are many Orange or Hot-Orange Prawn/Shrimp patterns that were developed primarily for late winter steelheading. Alec Jackson's Sauk River Shrimp, comes to mind. This prawn pattern is closer to Joe Kambeitz'z Squamish Poacher, using different materials, but with the unique Scott Howell style.
