This variation of the classic Silver was tied by Australian Fly Tyer, Bob Frandsen. Bob wrote about this fly, "This one is one of the old favorite classics tied as a hairwing. Its not a brightly coloured  fly by  any means, but there is something about the blend of colours that makes it a bit special. I have followed the Price-Tannat dressing in this case except for the tail and the wing , same colours but different material."
