Leons "Dead Egg Sperm Treble"
Originated and Tied By Leon Guthrie

Leons Dead Egg Sperm Treble

Thought I'd make up that Dead Egg Sperm on a Treble Hook. I got 15 pouches on it and could squeeze in more at a pinch. Size 6 Treble and white marabou attached at the eye end only. This will envelope the eggs as it is held in the river current and looks well-appetizing for your King Salmon. My missus went into one of those marriage outfitters and got me a pair of tights, "Hold-Ups" as they call them, and these are even better than the Booby Net material.

Note: Before using treble-hooked flies, check the regulations for your area. Many regulations, or specific rivers do not allow treble or double hooks.

This pattern was originated and tied by Leon Guthrie of Galashiels, Scotland. You can see more of his originals at The Flies of Leon Guthrie.
