Black Death
A Ken Broadhead Tied Tube Fly

Black Death

Name Black Death Tube Fly
Category Steelhead/Salmon
Tube Black flex Tube
Wing Black marabou, red krystal flash
Hackle Red schlappen
Head Red thread

This version of Black Death was tied as a Tube Fly by Ken Broadhead. You will find many more of Ken's exceptional   flies on his page on this site,  The Flies of Ken Broadhead.

Ken's Notes: ...The name of this fly comes from  the Florida tarpon fly. Anything tied in red and black can be called Black Death. ...Don’t see why it wouldn't work on steelhead.
