Welcome to the wonderful world of the number 23! What's so special about 23 you ask? Well, it's the world most common number (not counting 0-9). It's everywhere!

What, you don't believe me? You want examples, you say? Well ask and ye shall receive, me bucco!

Books

In the third book of the young Han Solo series, the rules of Sabac are explaned. To win a hand you need to be closest to positive or negative 23. To win the Sabac pot you need to have the Idiot, a 2 and a 3; literaly 23.

Comic books

There is a comic out from Wildstorm called C-23 (no I don’t know what it means, either).

Games

A new card game from Wizards of the Coast is called C-23. Yes the same C-23 as the comic.
The Steve Jackson Game, Illuminati: New World Order, is FILLED with 23s(I may have missed some. I don’t have a full set of Assassins).
- Clone Arrangers- The tank number is 23.
- Fiendish Fluoridaters-There’s a 23 on the wall behind the fluoridater

- In Wayne’s World Wayne and Garth go to an apartment building. Garth asks what floorthere on. Wayne says the 23rd. Garth then freaks out.
- Con-Air has a character called Johnny-23
- Found a big one in Godzilla (the new one). In it Godzilla uses the 23rd street subway station as a start of a tunnel.
- In Tomorrow Never Dies, Bond crouches behind a barrel labeled 23-S7

- Well, the Target I work at is on 23rd and Union.
- My drivers license has a 23 in it
Television
- Caught a couple in classic Star Trek. In the episode "Devil in the Dark" Kirk said "Vandenburg, you and your team go to level 23, checkpoint tiger." Another was in the Trek episode where Kirk and Spock go back in time to 1923.
- In an episode of "Rocko's Modern Life" Mr. Bighead offers to pay Rocko 23 cents for a toilet seat cover at a yard sale.
- On "Pinkey and the Brain", Brain had a plan to turn the moon into a giant disco ball. The plan would cost in exess of 23 billion dollers.
- On an episode of Garfield and Friends, there was a race of aliens called the zizazizabadawadaboinkboinkdingians who slept 23 hours a day.
- On a Dateline report it was mentioned that an estimated 23% of all check washers are caught.
- Caught this on HBO last night. Addicted to Love is premiering on May 23rd (not a bad movie).
- On a AT&T commercial they showed a time comparison. The listed time was 7:23.
- On an episode of Spider-Man, a character named Tombstone had a prison uniform on. His number on it was 12331.
- Saw a commercial for a shampoo called Infusium-23

- There is a N64 memory card that stores 123 pages of memory.
