Teens talk to teens when they need support or advice. To aid teens in communication and problem solving, The PEER Helper program was implemented at Thomas J. Walker Middle School. This year, sixteen students attended the PEER Helper training retreat at Camp Tapawingo. Students received training in communication and listening skills and had an opportunity to learn more about themselves. This is the ninth year the PEER Helper program has been active at Thomas J Walker Middle School. The program has received recognition from the state department of instruction as an exemplary program. Send us a note, we would love to hear from you. rsenari@mail.wiscnet.net
