“Michael’s Angel”-26”x32” frame size, edition of 750, 1992. The title refers to the ghost of the creation of Adam from the ceiling of the Sistine Chapel and is intended as a tribute to Michaelangelo as well as a device to put the scene a different context(the beginning of something-not the end). The ghost is over the bureau and a painting, this same painting. There is also a picture turned backwards(again signifying a fresh start) and a cat reacting to a sound among other points of curiosity. The Palace of Fine Arts in San Francisco is out the window.
