“Natural Selection”-image size is 11" x 15", matted and framed it is 16”x20”, edition of 750, 1993. It is a signed and numbered limited-edition lithograph in a closed edition with a certificate. These pieces deal with environmental turnabout and are intended to remind the viewer the whales were here before we got here and hopefully, will survive us. The title implies poetic justice in the evolutionary process. The “Never Too Latte” reference on the sunken espresso stand suggests a tongue-in-cheek perspective and a possible solution. From a scientific perspective, a shifting of the polar axis would be a more likely cause for such a scenario than an earthquake. All images are copyrighted.
