NOTE: A fan variant of the Doberman/Scorpio release, to which the excerpted comments were originally directed, with artwork reconfigured for standard CD cases.

DEEP: These audience recordings are top notch by 1980 recording standards and are certainly the finest quality "real disk" issues to date, surpassing even Rise Again. Just a joy throughout with a wild array of rarely performed and/or radically reworked performances. "Definitive" may not be too strong a characterization of this one. Committed, fiery performances from the man at the top of his game. Highly recommended.

rmd: A stupendous compilation. The tracklist speaks for itself; the source recordings are almost all at least VG, and often better. A must have. (DM)
