The following pages contain a wide variety of still images taken from wildlife video tapes that I recorded over the past few years in Washington and Oregon. While the videos are interesting in their own way, I have selected stills that freeze action at specific instants in time. In some cases I have included sequential images which reveal interesting, sometimes humorous, events that occurred within a fraction of a second and, consequently, went unnoticed in the real time video. One example is the unexpected braining of a bank swallow during a routine take off from it's perch on a w aving tule.

New images will be added periodically as I get time to edit more tapes.

I hope some of the images provide a bit of pleasure to the viewer as they have no other function. If they do, let me know at

If not, well....
