Another interest of mine

Aside from automotive interests, I am also quite fond of spending time with my hand-tame Tokay Gecko. Here are a few shots of him climbing around on my hand, as well as hanging on the back of my office chair. That's calcium powder dust on his head - he can be a rather excitable eater! He's quite friendly and full of spunk & character. I spend as much free time with him as possible to ensure he gets enough attention. He very much enjoys human contact but will usually be apprehensive toward people he does not know well.

UPDATE: This fine gecko now also has a son! Equally rambunctious but with the additional vigor of youth, the little one is a real handful (!) but despite what one may think of the Tokays' well known hostile reputation toward the typical human, big daddy has been hand tamed for years now and since son is captive hatched, he has never known a life of fearing humans and has not once attempted to bite the hand which feeds.
