Lineage A momentous annoncement causes the initially ecstatic Torres to soon become haunted by unhappy flashbacks to her childhood. Webmistress's Thoughts: The possibilities of genetic engineering! B'Elanna doesn't like being a Klingon so much, that she was willing to alter her child's dna to keep from looking Klingon. It's a good thing Tom set her straight and didn't go through with the procedure. One person in Star Trek history who was genetically engineered, is Khan, and we all know what kind of person he turned out to be. I'm not saying that B'Elanna's child would have been evil, but that there are unknown consequences when you mess with genetics. Overall, it wasn't a bad episode, a little slow here and there. But it's going to be a great season! Now that they're expecting the second child to be born on Voyager. (If they don't make it home before them.) Your Thoughts Give me your thoughts! |
