Round 16
Summarized from the Face-to-Face session.
The woman at the door is Marta (name?). She and her husband are fleeing the rim, near Bate-El. She has come to the Lightwing's hangar because of dreams of a red planet, and that there is something that requires her to stop here first. Joan explains that she is feeling the Force; that the red planet is Yavin; and that she must take Aeon there to train with Master Skywalker, even as she should be trained as a Jedi. Joan walks Aeon and Vritt back to her ship and sees them off.
Meanwhile, port authority guards come to investigate the previous disturbance. Bif manages to turn one aside by use of affect mind. Wei Ping leads another astray, eventually bushwacking him and leaving him unconscious.
DT discovers a physical switch that conceals assassin programming in the Betty droid, and informs Bif. She disables the switch and wipes the program. During her repairs she gives Betty more autonomy than Betty or anyone else would like, but no one knows about this reprogramming as yet.
Sha stays to finish loading the Lightwing while Bif, Are, and DT go to the Elgar shipyards to claim the L4 Transport. Wei Ping has made her own way to the transport.
DT tries to break in to the ship and is discovered by Mattac, who tries to put her to work scrubbing out some coils in engineering.
Acting on Wei Ping's report of sub-standard supplies, Bif intimidates the yard supervisor, Billi Brok, into resupplying the freighter. Boarding the freighter, Bif and Are meet with Wei Ping and Mattac. The captain, Tave Sarganish, is discovered surly and hung-over and is summarily dismissed by Bif.
The new supplies arrive and
are loaded within two hours. Joan comes to the transport and inspects
the main cargo hold, declaring that she can pilot the Lightwing inside.
