The picture below was taken in Wyoming of a rock formation that I thought was quite interesting. The photo turned out to be a little dark and hard to see the rock formations in the middle of the picture. Go to our Nature page to see what was done to enhance this picture. The picture of this rock formation on our Nature page was the result of scanning the orginal, enlarging it, brightening it and then adding more contrast. I used the UMAX Astra 610P scanner to do the scanning. I scanned at 250 dpi, so I could enlarge at least three fold and still have good resolution. I then used Adobe Photo Deluxe 2.0 to enlarge, brighten and adding contrast. The film I used was Signature 200 and developed by Signature.
