Manager of Motorola's Embedded Technology Center: staff included development engineers, business development and administrative staff: responsible for driving design win strategies for Motorola embedded solutions into the Windows CE market. Implemented matrix program management of technical and business issues relating to implementing Microsoft Windows CE for Motorola Processors, including CPU certification and targeted product initiatives, reference designs, tools, and software board support packages. Established a partnership infrastructure that assisted OEM's with product planning, including access to BSP's, applications and tools for next generation intelligent consumer devices such as smart phones, thin client devices, web phones, industrial automation controllers and digital set-top boxes. Specified and launched a new development platform, which includes development tools, reference design hardware and software (OAL, drivers, low level code). Developed a marketing, distribution, support and training plan for the new platform. Helped to establish product roadmaps with engineering teams by providing OEM requirements and software roadmap needs. Helped to generate over 50+ new processor design wins for Motorola in the last 18 months.

Zetron is in the 2-way mobile radio industry providing control and switching equipment. Started as an applications engineer responsible for sales, support and product development for international markets. Supported the establishment of UK office and European operations, then promoted to manage a marketing and support team for Asia Pacific Region. Responsible for specifying and developing software to automate tape head test procedure. Integration of PC test software to collect data from spectrum analyzer, oscilliscope, and to control a tape drive using GPIB bus. Test software reduced test setup and execution time, and improved overall data collection accuracy.
