The Stuff I Do.

Hey, and welcome to my art page. Here are a few things I have done, and that I am pretty proud of. These are all cross stitch, and have taken a long time to make, and well, if you don't like them, then tough, because I do.

Fairy Grandmother

This is the first one I have done from "Lavender And Lace" designs by Leisure arts (designer Marilyn Leavitt-Imblum). I love her the most because she is so warm looking and she make you feel comfortable just looking at her. She also has that look of wisdom and love, like all grandmothers. I entered her in the September 2002 Puyallup Fair and earned a Second Place award and an Award of Merit for her, I was very proud of my talent.

Fairy Dreams

This is the second one done by the same company and designer. This one is just lovely, and took alot of work to finish, she is the grace and charms of youth all rolled into one. However, her wings are simpler, less decorated than "Fairy Grandmother", that is possibly because she hasn't earned the wings of her elder yet. Showing that she is the definate compaion piece to "Fairy Grandmother". I entered her in the 2002 Puyallup Fair and took home a first place award for her.

Celtic Christmas

This Christmas girl took seven diffrent shades of red in the gown and red, green, and gold beads. She is just beaustiful when finished and quite possibly the most beautiful in the Lavender and Lace collection. a definate centerpiece to any Christmas celebration.

To view more of Marilyn Leavitt-Imblum's designs, check out her webpage, this is where I got the images for this page. The Official webpage of Told in a Garden.
