STP's second album, Purple is in my opinion their best work. Silvergun Superman is without a doubt my favorite song and is rare in the fact I've heard it hundreds of times and have never tired of it. Dean absolutely kicks on the songs' ending. This is goosebump inducing stuff people. Another thing I love about Purple is the very clear presence of Robert on bass.
