BACKSTREET'S BACK TAKEN FROM J-14 MAGAZINE

ze="4">>The Boys get ready to launch Millennium!

Are you ready for the Millenniun? On May 18, the Backstreet Boys are set to release their long-awaited new album, and we have a sneak preview of some of the new tracks! From the sound of it, the Boys are back and better than ever! This time, the group co-wrote the album with a number of producers, including Mutt Lang (who produced hit songs for the Boys and his wife Shania Twain in the past) and Max Martin.

Some of the highlights of Millennium include "I'll Be The One," an uptempo dance song in which the Boys promise they'll "be the one who'll make your sorrow undone." There are also two lovely ballads, the first a song about being apart from the one you love, called "Show Me The Meaning of Being Lonely." The other ballad is a gorgeous piano number called "I Need You Tonight."

Some other great songs on the album include "That's What She Said," "Back To Your Heart," and "Perfect Fan."

You too, can be a "perfect fan" by picking up Millennium on May 18!

What have the Boys been doing?

While the Boys have been hard at work on their new album for the past few months, they've still found time to get out and have some fun! In January, they took part in "Magic Johnson's Charity Celeb Basketball Tournament" in Miami. In February, they made a memorable appearance at the Grammys and presenters. ( They were also nominated for the "Best New Artist" award!)

In March, Howie attended a party to celebrate rapper Foxy Brown's new CD. "I just like her creativeness," he said of his foxy friend, adding that he hoped they could work together in the futur!

The guys also helped their old friend Shania Twian with her primetime musix special and atttted an opening of a Hard Rock Live restaurant in Orlando.

There's no rest for these Boys!

Are the Backstreet Boys Breaking up? The Boys have been pretty quiet recently...

In a word, no! Sure, the Boys have been out of the spotlight recently, but they are not going to break up! Of course, jealousy from other groups inevitably leads to these kinds of rumors. However, the breakup idea probably started when former New Kid on the Block (and "Stay the Same" singer) Joey McIntyre suggested the Boys looked "burned out" and compared them to his old group, which disbanded a few years after they hit it big. But with their new album and world tour in the works, it doesn't look like the Backstreet Boys are splitting anytime soon!

Milk does their bodies good!...

Guess which milk ad is one of the most popular? The one with the Backstreet Boys! The milk moustache campaigners had a contest to see which as was the most popular. And of all milk ads, the Backstreet Boys ad was one of the favourites, trailing closely behind those of model Tyra Banks, and actor Joshua Jackson.

For all you Backstreet fans, here's some inside info on the BSB Milk gig:

*To get the milk moustache, the Backstreet Boys had to drink a thick mixture of vanilla ice cream and milk.

*The ad was shot in a back alley in New York City. That same day in the city, a huge ticker-tape parade was going on for the New York Yankee's, who'd just won the World Series.

*The Boys had a lot of fun clowning around in-between takes. Brian brought his little dog along. Guess the pup also like to drink milk!
