~BILL IN MINNESOTA~

WELL HELLO THERE!
Welcome to my home away from home! ... Pull up a chair and make yourself comfortable and I'll tell you a little bit about my self.
I updated this on July 13, 2002. (Yes I finally updated this!)
If you don't fall asleep by the time I'm finished, feel free to visit my friends page too and meet the wonderful people I have had the opportunity to meet here on the net.
ARE YA STILL AWAKE????*LOL*GOOD!
Well, let's see... My name is Bill Freeman*Double checking drivers license*YUP!..It says right here..."Bill Freeman"!
Double clicking my name will get you to my picture taken four years ago at Snoqualmie Falls outside of Seattle while I was working there. There is also me not too long ago before one of many unsuccessful job interviews: Click away! I am 49 years young! I'm 6'0" tall and weigh 200lbs. (I was diagnosed with adult onset diabetes two years ago so my weight is going down! ;-)) I have blonde hair, blue eyes (wear glasses), a moustache and for 19 years, up until 1998, I have had a full beard, until my daughter informed me that I was looking a little too much like "Santa Claus" and wanted to see me without the beard! What a daddy will do for his girl!!!

My hobbies (when I'm not chatting) includeCURLING and GOLF! Both of which I have been playing for over 30 years!!

I can still hold my own. A team that I curled on last year was runnerup in the St. Paul Over 40 Bonspiel (curling tournament). I played lead and God was I sore!

My escape from the daily hassles and stress are to come into ThirtySomething or Hawaii Chat and chat with all the good friends I have met! You can see who they are when you visit my "Friends Page".

I have a Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Administration from BUCKNELL UNIVERSITY('74)& a Masters Degree of Science in Computer Science from UNION COLLEGE('80)
I used to work for a WONDERFUL COMPANY who flew me to Seattle from Minnesota and recently back and has taken very good care of me.
I am now back in the TWIN CITIES, with my family.
In order to get back to Minnesota I had to take what is known as a "contract for hire" so I used to work for USBank. I left there March 31, 2000 with a little outside help ... I hope I never discover who was responsible! But that is all ancient history now ... I am presently working as an independent consultant working at Express Scripts , in Bloomington, Minnesota.

SPEAKING OF KIDS!
Yes! I have two of them!! One boy and one girl! Click here to see my pride and joys!
Matt is my 19 year old athlete. This kid is a NATURAL!! (Just like his old man!)
Matt is in limbo right now ... may go back to college in the Fall.

Molly is my 16 year old going on 35!..She's a knockout!!
She has been competing with "BIG BROTHER" since she could walk!*L*
Molly is going to be Senior this Fall and IS a straight "A" student!!
THAT'S MY GIRL!!
She recently completed her first varsity softball season. All her team did was go 18-5 and be co-champions of the ultra-tough Lake Conference along with eventual State Champion Eden Prairie and our nemesis Thomas Jefferson of Bloomington (3 of our 5 losses :-( ). She continues to have great success in Summer traveling softball ... We are headed to the 16 and Under AFA Nationals in Rockford, Illinois! We won the Region 9 qualifier with a 8-0 record to represent Minnesota, Wisconsin, Iowa, Nebraska, North and South Dakota and southern Manitoba! Her 16 and under traveling softball team last year went to the Northern National ASA Championships and had a 46-13-1 record for the season. Not quite as successful as two year's ago when we WON THE MINNESOTA STATE CHAMPIONSHIP and went to Midland, Texas to play in the ASA Junior Olympics Nationals. The girls did excellent for a "northern" team. We were competitive in every game!! We beat a team from Victoria, Texas 8-7 (always an accomplishment to beat a southern team where they play year round!) and a team from Pender, Nebraska 7-4. We finished 2-4, but three of our losses were by 2 runs each to teams from Kansas and Lompoc, California (and we had early 3-1 leads in both games) and by 1 run in the bottom of the 7th inning to a team from Wichita Falls, Texas where it was VERY APPARENT where the umpires were from! Our other loss was to an excellent team from Cypress, California who had a girl who HOMERED TWICE OVER THE 200 FOOT fence against us (our girl's never see that kind of hitting in Minnesota). But after they jumped out to a 6-0 lead we scored 5 runs on them in the top of the 4th inning ... unfortunately they came back with 8 in the bottom of the 4th and we lost 14-5. Overall the Minnesota State Champions did the Gopher State proud! !!!!!! Dad isn't TOO PROUD!

Click here to see me and the Champ!
And she's not Daddy's LITTLE girl anymore ... she's up to 5'8"!

As for my life ... I took Web Design training last year from Web Design University in DesMoines, Iowa. I even started a consulting firm out of my home which you can link to below (be careful of the "About Us" page ... it's an AVI file of me talking about my new company but in will take FOREVER to load!!!) I love watching my kids play sports and for now that's my life. I completed my 35th year of curling this winter ... I am still pretty good!
