It seems that most of the Pontiac Can Am road tests in 1977 were done with a prototype that had the base 400 engine and highway gearing. Some of the tests included here indicate pretty lame performance as a result. (A W72 400 Can Am was capable of a mid 15-second quarter mile.) |
