Kathek is a tall old man. He is about 6 foot tall. He looks to be about 78 years old. He is thin, with a white goatee. He leans on a staff made of ancient oak (he boasts its age to be about 4000 years old), polished by years of being held. It forms at the end into a hand clutching a moderate sized, prefectly round, clear crystal.

His nature and philosophy: "We are indeed our brothers' keepers. The charge to "Love one another as I have loved you" rings in your ears. No that you cannot kill - God kills freely, and often commands us to so the same - but if you see someone in need, you must consider it a sacred charge to do what he can to help....." He also believes: "Not everybody can be a warrior. You can, however, and whatever your chosen field - warfare, law, medicine, whatever - you must bend your efforts towards defending those who deserve a fighting chance."

Kathek abures violence. He is a calm and caring individual, but cross, and his wrath is something that most fear.
