I wish I could reach into tomorrow
and share this day with you 
To take away your burdens
and the sorrows that you bear

I wish I could give you strength
to see the day through
to ease any pain that may come
so you would find hope

My mind and heart aches for you
wanting so much to comfort you
to hug you, to make you know
all will be okay 

but there is no one greater
that I could send your way
than our Lord God Almighty
who loves you more than any

in the power of a prayer
to help you thru this time
to give you hope and ease your mind
